Glad you found my info useful on c-c.com. I really wish I could have documented things better, but the guy doing the work lived over an hour away from me, so it was tough to get over to his shop to see the progress. Anyway, you've certainly filled in the gaps on how to do it right - great details on locating the mounting holes and getting everything to line up properly. I'm even more impressed now by what my body guy, Dave, went through to install these things!

Best of luck out on the track!

Id love to see any and all pics on doing the same 1.5" Maier flare to the quarters! I flared the hell out of my stock 1/4s and it looks good for not finishing it off yet with lite body filler and prime, check it out at nolimitnotch.com.

No, we haven't done the rears yet. We had a second coupe, and were planning to try the Tiger Racing fenders on it. We were holding off on finishing the white coupe until after that to see which one we prefered. But. Someone here got a jones for a different car and sold the second coupe.

We're finishing off some stuff for the Z06 this month, and then it's back to the rear fenders and a new front air dam.

Have you installed the rear quarters yet? Would like to see the mockup if you have any shots of them.

Doh! </head smack> That's a great idea. That would have removed some of the anxiety in drilling. I guess we were in such a hurry to get them on the night before loading up the trailer - we didn't take time to think through all the possible install ideas. I'll be sure to amend the write-up to suggest this. Thanks Mike!

Thanks for the great write-up.

Very timely for me as I scored a free set of near new (2 track days) Toyo RA-1s in 275-40-17 this weekend.

I had scoured the internet in the past because I knew I wanted to use the 275s on all corners but until this latest search, I found no good info. I'll definately be adding a set of these fenders to my car ASAP (well as soon as the budget allows anyway).

By the way, did you guys ever consider making templates out of paper or cardboard to transfer the hole points on the fenders? Using construction paper worked well for me when I was fabricating the rear seat delete for my 91 GT (worked especially well around the roll cage tubes).
